The City of Wolverhampton Council is calling all local organisations to get involved and to submit details of activities or events which can be included in the Yo! February half-term offer for children and young people.

The Yo! holiday programme is designed to deliver a range of fun activities for children and young people of all ages and abilities, with thousands of youngsters and their families taking part.

February half-term promises to be a fun-filled week, with a range of events taking place from sports and outdoor activities, craft and drama activities, music and film-making plus family fun days and a selection of activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Local organisations which are holding events of their own this half-term are encouraged to submit details so they can be featured on the Yo! Wolves website, www.yowolves.co.uk, for free. Organisations simply need to visit

www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/yo-february-holiday-activities-form as soon as possible and, if suitable, they will be included on the website.

Councillor Beverley Momenabadi, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “We want to deliver another varied and fun programme of activities for children and young people during  the February half-term holidays. There will be a range of things to do for families and young people with both free and paid for activities on offer.

"We have already received details of many fantastic events to include on the Yo! Wolves website, but we want even more so we can ensure the programme is as big as possible and keeps our young people active, entertained and educated. So, if your organisation is holding events or activities which cater for our city’s young people, please submit details as soon as possible.”

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, organisers are asked to ensure that their events and activities are held in a Covid-secure manner.
