Ahead of the Good Food Show Winter that descends on Birmingham's NEC this weekend, we caught up with Craig & Shaun McAnuff, also known as Original Flava!

Popular food influencer brothers from London, Craig and Shaun, launched ‘Original Flava’ in 2016 to teach people how to cook Caribbean food via easy and tasty recipes for everyone!

Taught how to cook by their Jamaican Grandmother & Mother, their online success has now seen them sign to Bloomsbury publishing, gaining over 800,000 followers online and produce an Amazon number one best-selling cookbook. This is all after they produced a popular self-published book by themselves in 2017, after a successful crowd funding campaign. The boys were raised in a challenging area in South London, surrounded by crime. They now use this to inspire other young people with workshops at Schools.

You can catch Original Flava cooking live in the Wild Kitchen and Christmas Kitchen on Sunday 26 November at the BBC Good Food Show Winter 2023!

1) What are you most looking forward to at the BBC Good Food Show Winter 2023?

We're both really looking forward to connecting with our fans again, meeting the other celebrity chefs and getting feedback on these exciting recipes! The crowd reaction to our recipes in the Good Food Summer Show was insane so we hope to recreate this!

2) What was your favourite part of the last BBC Good Food Show?

We can't pick just one! It was great meeting Nadiya Hussain and Michel Roux, we loved seeing our fans, signing their books and hearing their stories and Chris Bavin's banter was top tier too!

3) What is your top tip for the festive season, be it for Christmas Dinner, leftovers, gifts etc?

We'd say, don't forget to bring your containers with you on Christmas Day for those leftovers! Especially one with a secure clip on the side so your gravy doesn't pour out the side!

4) What have you been up to lately, and what is on the horizon for you?

We've been really busy with our restaurant residency at Markethouse in Brixton and also collaborating with brands such as Tilda and P&G Professional on exciting social content! In terms of what's on the horizon, we're planning on going on a nationwide supperclub tour, launching a NEW book and products too! Watch this space...

5) Apart from the business side, any other news to share with us?

Since BBC Good Food Show in June, Shaun's had a new baby boy, Craig's twin daughters started school in September and Shaun's eldest son started pre-school so it's been a really busy, but exciting time for us as we adjust to new areas of Fatherhood.
