Residents are being invited to discover the benefits of the free NHS App at a special drop-in session at the Civic Centre next Monday (2 February, 2026) from 10am-3pm.
The NHS app provides a convenient way for people to manage their healthcare via their smartphone, and members of the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board's Digital First Team will be on hand to provide one to one help and advice so that users can make the most of the app.
Councillor Obaida Ahmed, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: "The NHS app is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services and information on your smartphone or tablet, and millions of people are already using the NHS app to manage their health from the comfort of their homes.
"From booking appointments to viewing your medical records, next week's drop-in will help you discover how the app can make managing your health easier. Experts will also be on hand to help you register and start using the app confidently.
"We are pleased to be working with colleagues in the NHS to improve access to healthcare for the people of Wolverhampton and, whether you’re new to the NHS App or simply want to explore its features, this event is a great opportunity to get practical advice and ask questions."
