Its youth gym is open every morning and Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club is holding a week-long athletics programme – including fancy dress on Halloween.
The pools at WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams and WV Active Central will be hosting crash course swimming sessions while Central Baths will be inviting kids to take part in fun float sessions throughout the week
WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams is laying on fun and games for eight to 12-year-olds on Monday (26 October) while WV Active Kids – taking place at WV Active Aldersley on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (27-29 October) from 10am-1pm – includes multi-sports, arts and crafts and giant games of Connect 4 and snakes and ladders for children aged five to 11.
And Toddler Sense is holding Spooky Wooky parties for very young visitors, featuring soft play, inflatables, a shadow puppet show, disco and refreshments at Aldersley Leisure Village on Thursday (29 October).
Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: “There’s plenty to keep younger visitors to our leisure centres active and entertained this half-term and I’d urge parents to book early to avoid disappointment.”
