The West Bromwich-based charity helps thousands of people across the UK each year and offers a range of services for people in need, struggling with their emotional health and wellbeing. Wembley to Qatar covers the staggering 4,186 miles from Wembley stadium to the Lusail Stadium, Qatar where the FIFA World Cup 2022 final will be held.

By signing up you’ll be raising vital funds throughout the 2022 World Cup for those who are struggling with their mental health, with the money raised being used to provide vital support for the people who need it most. Sign up to make your contribution to our grand total of 4,186 miles. Run, Walk, Cycle, Swim, set your own distance and smash your goals. On the world cup challenge, Gary Wheway, Head of Business Development and Fundraising at the Kaleidoscope Plus Group said: “We are so excited to launch our Wembley to Qatar challenge.

“Anyone can take on the challenge whenever, wherever, and however they choose, and by doing so will be raising vital funds for the people supported by the Kaleidoscope Plus Group, providing crucial mental health support services to people, wherever they are needed.” The money raised will enable the Kaleidoscope Plus Group to provide life-changing services, promoting positive health and wellbeing, challenging the stigma around mental health, and creating inclusive communities.

Anyone who signs up for the challenge can set their own fundraising target, set up an individual fundraising page and share it with family and friends to help raise funds for the Kaleidoscope Plus Group, raising as much or as little as possible. All donations no matter how big or small make a difference to service users, a donation of £10 could help provide vital funds for our Sanctuary Hub service.

The hub provides people with a safe space to talk. Staff will listen, support, offer advice and empower an individual’s recovery journey. A donation of £60 for example could help pay for an hour of counselling from one of our team. Thanks to all donations no matter how big or small, the Kaleidoscope Plus Group can maintain early intervention support and provide vital support for those who need it.

Anyone who signs up to take part can connect their preferred fitness app to track their progress and share their fundraising success on social media. Join our leader boards and meet others who are taking part and enjoy some healthy competition with other fundraisers as well as aiming to achieve our challenge badges.

Monica Shafaq, CEO of The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, added: "I am delighted that we are launching our Wembley to Qatar challenge as we all enjoy the World Cup this winter. Those taking part can make the challenge their own.

“Walk, run, swim, or ride your way to your target number of miles and fundraising challenge. Our charity relies on the generosity of our supporters. All funds raised will go to services that provide crucial mental health support for those in need.”
