The UK’s largest Yoga business is set to open a brand new studio in the heart of Birmingham.
Located in the Colmore district of Birmingham City Centre, you can find the studio in the penthouse suite (3rd floor) of 37A Waterloo Street. The new Hotpod Yoga studio will formally open on 9th May under the ownership Liberty and Kelly.
Liberty already runs a successful Hotpod Yoga studio, having opened the charming Redditch studio in 2019. She first found Hotpod in 2014 where she was instantly hooked after attending classes at the Solihull studio.
Born and raised in Birmingham, she has always been passionate about the city and its community. Kelly attended the University of Birmingham and being a keen Crossfitter and coach, began her Hotpod journey with the aim of improving her mobility to compliment her training.
The duo are delighted to be bringing Hotpod’s immersive experience to Birmingham and cannot wait to take the city by storm. Liberty and Kelly share a unique energy that embodies the essence of Hotpod.
They want to myth bust perceptions of yoga and create a welcoming environment to bring the experience to as many people as possible. To celebrate the launch of the new studio, and welcome new people to Hotpod Yoga’s renowned concept, Liberty and Kelly will be hosting a series of complimentary taster classes from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th May.
Commenting on the studio opening, Liberty and Kelly, said: “Firstly, let go of any preconceptions you have of a yoga class. We are unlike anything you have been to before. Everybody is welcome, no matter what level you are at, the class is accessible to all.
“It is HOT and you will sweat. There is no judgment in our pods, no mirrors, just a down to earth approach creating a welcoming space for you to feel your best - whatever your best may be!”.
Hotpod Yoga Birmingham becomes the latest member of the Hotpod Yoga family. Launched in 2013, the company has grown to become the UK’s largest yoga business with more than 50 studios nationwide and plans to expand further.
Hotpod Yoga has worked with world-leading inflatable experts, top architects, and heating consultants to create patented pods which sit inside its permanent studios. The pods form an immersive yoga environment that is regulated at 37 degrees, deepening the effects of a typical yoga class.
Liberty and Kelly continued: “Hotpod Yoga is a one-of-a-kind experience that caters to all levels. It’s much more than just a yoga class - it’s an immersive, multi-sensory experience that feels a million miles from the everyday.
“Glowing lights, rhythmic beats, aromatic scents, all wrapped up in a comfortable 37°C heat. Some people leave a class feeling energised and ready to start the day, while others leave feeling calm and relaxed.
“Whichever feeling you’re looking for, the pod will be a true oasis in Birmingham, and everyone is welcome.” Following the free classes for the opening weekend, an intro offer of 10 days unlimited yoga for £18 will be available.
For those who wish to continue their Hotpod Yoga experience, a range of attendance options will be available - including a single class for £16, a five-class pass for £70, and an unlimited monthly membership for £110 a month.
