The Brick Lane Jazz Festival has announced it will be bringing the event back for 2024, in its second collaboration with Jazz re:freshed.
The partnership comes as Jazz re:freshed prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary as a grassroots jazz organisation, helping to make the London jazz scene a more diverse space. The festival's second event with the not-for-profit-organisation brings with it a host of new performance locations and a line-up with new artists.
Juliet Kennedy, Brick Lane Jazz Festival's founder, said: "We’re looking at a whole new site this year, with Rich Mix, Rough Trade, Common Counter and Village Underground all hosting live shows throughout the weekend and with all festival venues included on the wristband.
"We’re excited to be welcoming special guests Theo Croker from the US and Mark De Clive Lowe from Japan this year too, alongside the fantastic, homegrown UK acts, who never fail to amaze our audiences. We’re very hyped indeed for April."
There are ten locations across the three-day music event and the 2024 line-up will feature new names in the jazz scene alongside names like Ego Ella May, Isobella Burnham, Dominic J Marshall and Mackwood. Tickets are on sale for all three dates (April 26-28).
