KE Adventure Travel have announced an exciting partnership with innovative sports brand INOV8 to offer one fortunate adventurer the opportunity of a lifetime: a fully guided 19-day expedition to Nepal and entry to the world's highest marathon.
The extraordinary prize centres on the legendary Everest Marathon, an annual event that has challenged runners since 2003. Starting at Everest Base Camp, situated at 5,364m above sea level, participants complete a 26.2-mile course across challenging Himalayan terrain.
Held each year on May 29th, it commemorates the historic 1953 summit achievement of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary. The partnership launches with INOV8's new Natural High Everest Challenge, a two-week community initiative running from June 23 to July 6.
Participants are invited to log their running and trekking ascent metres, with the collective goal of scaling Mount Everest's equivalent height multiple times as a global community.
