An incredible six Koh Thai Tapas sites have been shortlisted in this year's Asian Curry Awards, as a result of online polling by members of the public, as 100,000 votes were cast nationwide. The following six sites will now be judged by a panel of experts in the Asian food industry: Bath, Bristol, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Southsea and Lilliput.  The company's Mark Hooper has also been shortlisted for 'Maitre d' of the Year'. Koh Thai Tapas has also been shortlisted in two categories for this year's Eat Out Magazine awards plus two local business awards in Dorset.

“As a company, we are proud to have been the first to break the traditional Thai eating concept by introducing a European tapas-style of dining whilst remaining loyal to cooking the very best in authentic Thai food. Although almost all of our chefs are Thai, we have made Thai food accessible and enjoyable to the wider market. Our focus stretches to achieving the complete dining experience. We are glad to see this consistency achieved, as confirmed by so many of the public voting us their 'Restaurant of the Year' across sites," said Andrew Lennox, CEO and Founder of the The Koh Group.

The 6th Asian Curry Awards will be hosted at Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane, Mayfair, London on Sunday 23 October 2016. The 1,000 person awards dinner will be hosted by celebrity presenter, Kate Silverton. Kate is a regular anchor for the BBC News at One, Six and Ten O'clock. Attendees will include top restaurateurs, politicians, ambassadors, embassy staff, other food industry influencers and a select group of VIPs.

The fast growth Thai chain has also been shortlisted for 'Best Brand' and 'Best Recruitment Campaign' in the Eat Out Magazine 2016 Awards, which take place on 1st  November at The Gable in Moorgate, London.

The current 'Awards Season' has highlighted Koh's strengths with shortlisting for both 'Company of the Year' and 'Restaurant of the Year' in Dorset-based awards. The future looks bright for one of Dorset's fastest growing businesses, set to open their 12th site in Lymington in December.
