Expect a hue of green to descend upon Longueville Manor next week as the five-star hotel celebrates St Patrick's Day in style. The occasion will mark an important business milestone for the Relais & Châteaux property and offer an array of special treats to residents and visitors alike.

The occasion is particularly close to the hearts of three members of the Manor's management team who celebrate 25 years in business together this year. Owner Malcolm Lewis, Director Pedro Bento and Executive Chef Andrew Baird have reached this rare milestone and intend to celebrate with their guests. St Patrick's Day couldn't be a more fitting celebration as all three are also married to Irish girls!

The entire Longueville Manor team is immersed in preparations. Andrew is working on Irish inspired gastronomy for special lunch and dinner menus in his own leading style. Pedro will have guests thoroughly entertained with his whiskey and cheese tasting and Malcolm has arranged for the entire Manor to be flood lit in green for the big day – it's sure to be good craic!

St Patrick's Day falls on Tuesday 17th March but in true Irish style celebrations will extend throughout the week at Longueville Manor. They will join a succession of celebrations across the globe from the modern festivals and parades to the more traditional church and prayer meets. St Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.

Malcolm Lewis, Proprietor, Longueville Manor, says:

'With our Irish connections, St Patrick's Day is a fitting and fantastic way to celebrate our business milestone. I am incredibly proud to be able to say that Andrew and Pedro have been by my side for 25 years; it's very rare in the hospitality industry to have such loyalty and I think it's part of what makes the Manor a very special place indeed. Behind us are also three fantastic Irish ladies and all this festivity is in their honour too. We hope our customers will enjoy all the special arrangements we have made for next week and we invite all our local customers to come and join in the revelry.'
