Birmingham's O2 Academy is set to host a number of internationally renowned Reggae Soundsystems and artists who will be gathering for ‘World Bash UK’ - a celebrate of the musical culture of the Soundsystem – its DJs, engineers and MCs.

Built on the experiences of the pioneers from the Caribbean, who created their own parties - known as Blues – today there are an endless number of world renowned Soundsystems, with Birmingham, alone, boasting some of the most celebrated cohorts of the genre. Poised to showcase the biggest and best in the world, World Bash will see a supercharged stage show, and a star-studded line-up of some of the most significant players in the sound system industry. 

A celebration of sound culture, World Bash will bring a heady mix of classic anthems and good vibes alike. This Bank Holiday will see the likes of Luv Injection, Wassifa Showcase, Empire Sound and Mafia Tone amongst a host of names battling it out on the night.

Other star Soundsystem names expected on the night include the likes of David Rodigan, Bodyguard, Code Red, Saxon, Bass Odyssey, Empire Sound, V Rocket International, Killamanjaro, Dynamq, amongst others on the night.

World Bash UK takes place today, Sunday, May 5.
