MedicAnimal has announced a new partnership with Cats Protection, the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. MedicAnimal will be donating a percentage of orders on pet care products to Cats Protection when customers use the relevant code at checkout. Donation options start at 1 per cent on a first order and increase up to 5 per cent for customers who order 6 or more times.

In 2014, Cats Protection helped over 205,000 cats and kittens through their national network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 32 centres. With an average cost of 18p to feed a cat per day in their care, a spend of £25 a month with MedicAnimal would generate £12 a year, enough to help feed 66 cats in their care for a day

Andrew Bucher, Chief Veterinary Officer at MedicAnimal, the UK’s leading online pet healthcare retailer, said: “MedicAnimal is very proud to be partnering with Cats Protection and to help promote the amazing work that this charity carries out for our feline friends. We very much hope you will be able to support them by either ordering with us, donating directly, becoming a cat sponsor, joining their weekly lottery or re-homing one of their many cats in need.”

Richard Howard, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Cats Protection, said: “We are thankful to MedicAnimal for their support and for making their customers aware of our work and our core objectives of homing, neutering and education. Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs, so we are pleased that MedicAnimal can help us achieve this vision by sharing our messages and raising vital funds.”
