Julia Gray has joined Greater Birmingham Chamber as a business development manager. Julia, who hails from Aldridge, will split her time between Birmingham and the newly launched Sutton Chamber. She said: “It will be an exciting challenge to build up the Sutton Chamber, which has only recently joined the Chamber family.

“I am looking forward to helping develop the good work which has been started by the town’s Business Improvement District, which has led to the formation of the new Chamber. “Sutton Chamber already has a good nucleus of new members, and it is my intention to build on that.”

Julia, who lives near the Birmingham Chamber offices in Edgbaston, has worked for several businesses since leaving Queen Mary’s Girls School in Walsall, including a corporate clothing firm, where she worked her way up to the position of contract account manager.

She has also spent time working as a volunteer in Japan, where she built on the Japanese language lessons she attended at school. Julia is also a keen alternative music fan, and spends time attending music festivals throughout the country.
