The Nooran Sisters are far from ordinary and are destined for worldwide domination thanks to their rich family heritage in Sufi classical music. Already having headlined the prestigious Nakodar Mela in Panjab, in the presence of the legendary Gurdas Mann - the sisters, Jyoti and Sultana are without a doubt the most amazing and exciting act to come out of Panjab in recent years.
Having caught the attention of A.R. Rahman, the music supremo enlisted the sisters for their vocals on the 2015 smash hit record, Patakha Guddi, for the film Highway starring Alia Bhatt. This resulted in the sisters being nominated for and picking up a number of industry awards. Among them were awards such as ‘Best Bollywood Song’ at the IIFA Awards and ‘Best Upcoming Female Vocalist’ at the MMA Awards. 800 million people also watched the sisters when they took the stage at the International Indian Film Awards in 2015.
