Popeyes UK has announced that it will be bringing the taste of New Orleans to another location in the West Midlands this month.
Launching on Friday 15th August 2025, the new restaurant will be opening its doors at One Stop Shopping Centre in Birmingham at 11am. Following recent openings across the region - including Birmingham Airport, the brand’s first UK airport restaurant - as well as Birmingham New Street Station, The Fort, Wednesbury, and Tylsley, Popeyes has established a strong presence across the Midlands.
This latest launch will mark the brand’s seventh location in the region and its 31st opening this year. Popeyes will once again be pulling out all the stops, bringing a taste of New Orleans hospitality to Perry Barr with exciting launch day offers.
On opening day, the first three people in the queue will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year. Plus, the first 50 customers will be treated to exclusive Popeyes UK merchandise and the first 100 customers will bag a free Chicken Sandwich.
Popeyes has become synonymous with queues around the block, with customers recently waiting over 14 hours at the New Street Station launch to get their hands on the legendary Chicken Sandwich. So, the team is encouraging hungry visitors to arrive early to avoid missing out on the opening day’s epic giveaways.
With both dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken lovers will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps. All of Popeyes chicken is halal certified and marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous Shatter Crunchin’ chicken.
The new Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich will also be available from opening day, following huge demand from fans for its return to the menu. A sweet and spicy twist on the iconic Popeyes classic, the Hot Honey Sandwich is drizzled with Hot Honey sauce, topped with cheddar cheese and pickles, and served in a soft brioche bun.
The Sandwich is joined by the return of the bigger-than-ever Hot Honey range, featuring the brand-new Hot Honey Saucin’ Boneless, the comeback of Hot Honey Saucin’ Wings, and the Hot Honey Box Meal. The new restaurant will be located in One Stop Shopping Centre, 2 Walsall Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham, B42 1AA and will include 76 seats and self-service kiosks.
