Taste couscous from all over the world at Sicily's annual Couscous Fest in September.  From 16 to 25 September visitors can wander around the streets of San Vito Lo Capo in North West Sicily and try over 30 different recipes, which are served every day from midday to midnight in traditional couscous houses dotted around the town.  The huge variety of couscous recipes ranges from the extravagant to the traditional, meat, fish, seafood and vegetables to gluten free.

Leading Michelin starred chefs will also be cooking their couscous recipes for the public to taste accompanied by Sicilian wines.  This year two Michelin starred chef Claudio Sadler and Michelin starred Giancarlo Morelli will be demonstrating their skills.  There is also a highly competitive cook off  with chefs arriving from all over the world.  Visitors can get involved and join the people's jury to find the best Italian and international couscous chefs.

One of Sicily's biggest annual festivals, the Couscous Fest has also become an art and culture event with Piazza Santuario filling with free live concerts and exhibitions giving the event a carnival atmosphere.
