Tomorrow’s technology stars need more support to fulfil their talent.  According to new research by Gadget Show Live, the UK’s largest technology exhibition, held at the NEC Birmingham, more than nine in ten parents  in the West Midlands have a child showing interest in pursuing a career in technology,  but over a third aren’t confident giving advice to support those aspirations.

Mobile phone users in Pakistan reached 124.24 million at the end of November 2015, after five mobile phone companies added a combined user base of 1.64 million customers during the reported month, said recently issued stats by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. Mobilink leads the charts with 35.67 million customers while Telenor is closing in the gap with 34.24 million subscribers.

Around half of Britain’s population are unaware of forthcoming planning applications or road closures in their area, research by Haringey Council has revealed. Haringey’s ground-breaking new free neighbourhood alerts mobile phone app bids to tackle this by ensuring the borough’s residents are first to hear about issues they need to know about. ‘Haringey Notiz’, launched in June as part of a government pilot with newspaper publisher Trinity Mirror, has already been downloaded by nearly 1,500 Haringey residents.
