The sea, boats and water sports will be the leading stars of Fenáutica 2016, Tenerife's most popular nautical show, due to take place on 4th and 5th June this year at Marina del Sur (Las Galletas). Packed with an array of fun activities, exhibitions, workshops, concerts and a regatta, Fenáutica, which will be held close to Tenerife South Airport, is free for visitors to the island to attend.

Following the success of its first edition in June 2015, visited by almost 7,000 people, Fenáutica will take place in Tenerife once again to showcase the island's connections to everything related to the sea. During the two-day festival, visitors will have the chance to participate in a variety of water sports including jet skiing, kayaking and paddle surfing as well as learn how to scuba dive. There will also be an opportunity to see the latest yachts and sailing boats and to swap flippers for dancing shoes to make the most of the sound 'waves' of DJ Tecnosurf.

The sea festival, aimed at adults and children alike, will also host the 4th edition of the Guanche's Cup – a popular event expected to welcome around 100 vessels on a fascinating race aimed at promoting sailing to all ages.

Furthermore, those staying in the popular resort of Los Cristianos can take advantage of the 'shuttle ship' Peter Pan, which will be taking visitors to Las Galletas – where Fenáutica takes place – and back throughout the two days of the event.

Thanks to Tenerife's pleasant sea temperatures all year round, varying from 19 to 26 degrees, visitors to the island can do their favourite water sport at any time of the year. Scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking and free diving are some of the options available on the island.
