The official Mr & Miss Nigeria UK Cultural Pageant took place on Sunday 4th October 2015 in the amazing venue 229 The Venue in Great Portland Street. The Mr & Miss Nigeria UK pageant and showcase was scheduled to take place in the month of October as it involves the celebration of the Nigerian Independence. The overall aim of this Pageant is too empower and enrich the Nigerian culture in the UK.

Mr & Miss Nigeria UK was full of energy, charisma and vibrant contestant and the team were proud of all efforts that each and everyone one of them put in. As this show aims to help further develop Nigeria and bring awareness to its underlining issues, and will serve to connect British born and raised Nigerians with their heritage back home we believe that this was achieved with the pure culture that was displayed at the show.

The Mr & Miss Nigeria UK cultural beauty pageant is held in support of Compassion UK, is an international Christian child development and child advocacy ministry.  Partnering with local churches, they are committed to the spiritual, economic, social and physical development of children living in extreme poverty in 26 countries, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Mr & Miss Nigeria UK aims to bring the Nigerian diaspora community together through the arts, to celebrate the diversity and culture among young Nigerian talent and to celebrate the beauty of Nigeria and its people.

On Sunday 4th October 2015 we crowned the handsome Contestant 3, Theo Ogundipe, and the stunning Contestant 4, Jane Ezeanaka , Mr & Miss Nigeria UK 2015. Contestant 11, Sylvester Akinrolabu, and Contstant 2, Rachael Afolabi both placed second as 1st Prince and Princess with Contestant 1, Kes Ajuwa, and Contestant 8, Nicole Aina-De-Haan coming in a close 3rd as 2nd Prince & Princess. Congratulations to all who participated and we know they will go on to do bigger and better things!
