Jazz-Fusion, Broken-Beats and Deep House are set to be the order on a night when some of the legendary DJs of yesteryear gather for the long-anticipated second edition of the Powerhouse Jazz Funk All-Dayer Reunion. Legendary DJs including Colin Curtis, Chris Reid, E Double D, Bruce Q, the man himself, Frenchie, plus many more, will be bringing that unique club vibe back to life for the pre-Christmas Jam of a lifetime.

Following on from the first – pre-Covid – edition - in 2019 - the enforced 2-year hiatus, the erstwhile, and incredibly determined, organiser and promoter, the afore-mentioned Tony ‘Frenchie’ Quaile, has again pulled out all the stops to make sure this ‘Tribute to The Birmingham Powerhouse Jazz Funk All-Dayer 2nd Anniversary Christmas Reunion Party’, this Saturday (December 18) will be the perfect antidote for all those, from the original, unforgettable scene – whose ‘grooves-and-moves’ are desperately in need of THE ideal platform – to again be able relive those memorable day-long sessions that were never-before, and a long-time since, been ever experienced.

“After three attempts the 2nd Anniversary showcase is finally here,” says Quaile. “I was pleasantly surprised at the turn-out in 2019 and the feed-back since has been overwhelming. So, I really had no choice but to bring on this second rendition of this Reunion Party. It will never be forgotten by all who were there then.

“And, for this time round it promises to be bigger – with more rooms and much, much more music. The smiles on the faces of the Jazz-Funk Family, back then, was something to behold. Those ‘chumping at the bits’ for this weekend haven’t got long.

“And, I know I can’t wait.” For those who were there - and for those who were not after – after three attempts, it’s finally here. Representing the very best Jazz, Funk, Electro, Deep House, Broken Beats and Soul, the Birmingham Powerhouse Jazz Funk All-Dayer 2nd Anniversary Reunion, at the Tunnel Club, Livery Street, is back…and it’s just days away.

It’s all about the music!
