Tucked away in the Eastern Caribbean lies the truly incomparable Caribbean island of Anguilla - the British Overseas Territory, renowned for its powder-white beaches, exciting culinary scene and outstanding accommodation, that’s flourishing with resort developments, increased flights, a new airport terminal, restaurant openings and exciting new tours.

Nestled on one of Anguilla’s most iconic beaches – Shoal Bay East, The Manoah Boutique Hotel has completed a comprehensive renovation programme. All suites and rooms have been refreshed with new furniture, and the hotel's iconic beach and pool areas have been upgraded to ensure guests fully enjoy the prime location. Luxurious, new beach cabanas have been installed for superior comfort along the beachfront, and a new beach eatery called ‘The Gourmet Corner at the Red Sun’ offers artisanal ice cream, sweet treats and a juice bar.

The most significant transformation is the elevation of the hotel’s gastronomic offerings, curated by newly-appointed Consulting Chef, the celebrated Chef Didier Aniès (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). At new signature Restaurant L'Étoile, Chef Aniès has overseen the launch of a sophisticated new menu focused on refined French and Caribbean fusion cuisine. Located on Mead’s Bay, Frangipani Beach Resort provides the picture-perfect backdrop for an exquisite island getaway.

New for the winter sun season 2025/26, Frangipani has opened eight luxury, oceanfront rooms and suites in a 12,000sq.ft expansion that includes two Deluxe Ocean View Rooms, three Ocean View One Bedroom Suites, and three Deluxe Ocean View Suites. This brings the resort’s total inventory to 32 rooms and suites, plus a four-bedroom villa, all offering the “barefoot luxury” experience that visitors have come to equate with the island of Anguilla. Framed by two turquoise bays, the exquisite Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla has completed a series of resort enhancements, including a renovation of the Aleta Pool Deck and expansion of the adjacent event space, a refresh of the lobby and front drive, as well as ongoing landscaping and aesthetic updates across the resort.

Signature restaurant, Salt, reopened for the season in November with a fully renovated space and a refreshed menu, and a new oceanfront restaurant, Lima-Limon (formerly called Half-Shell), has opened offering vibrant coastal Mexican flavours. Also new for the season is the Captain’s BBQ Cookout, a family-friendly experiential dining event. At Tranquility Beach, where 15 beachy-chic private condominium suites and villas overlook Meads Bay Beach, guests can now book the third Oceanview Penthouse Villa with exclusive use of a private rooftop Sky Deck.

Guests staying in the adjacent villa enjoy an additional 1,377sq. ft elevated entertainment and lounge space for their exclusive enjoyment, including shady pergola, outdoor living room, grill and kitchenette. As an extra perk, guests are treated to a complimentary hour of rooftop butler service. In further news, the resort has completed the installation of new, rooftop solar panels, allowing the resort to run up to 75% off-grid on sunny days. Also new this season, Tranquility Beach is expanding its award-winning beach drink service to showcase even more local Anguilla history and flavours.

New drinks on offer include a new iced version of Anguilla’s traditional bush tea, made with fragrant local herbs, from family recipes passed down through generations, and hand-crafted margaritas rimmed with salt that was harvested by hand at a local natural salt pond. Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA) is undergoing a major expansion and opened its brand new passenger terminal on 15 December 2025. The new terminal is designed to significantly enhance the airport’s capacity and passenger experience.

The airport will see further improvements with the expansion of the runway, set to be completed in 2026, and will further bolster the island’s capacity to welcome more visitors. Upon completion, it will be able to accommodate larger aircraft, including Boeing 737 Max 8s, which can carry up to 170 passengers. This increased capacity is expected to open up new possibilities for direct flights from major North American and European cities, potentially revolutionising Anguilla’s tourism industry.

During 2025, BermudAir announced the launch of AnguillAir, a groundbreaking new brand and the airline’s first major expansion beyond Bermuda. Nonstop flights to Anguilla begin in December 2025, signalling a powerful new era in Caribbean connectivity.  AnguillAir first announced nonstop services from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) to AXA, followed by the announcement of a service from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to AXA.

In November 2025, regional airline Anguilla Air Services started a daily service between Anguilla and the neighbouring island of St. Kitts (SKB). Contemporary Mediterranean flavours find their perfect setting on Shoal Bay West Beach at Karaya, where award-winning cuisine and hospitality create something entirely new.

Opened in November 2025, from the team behind Anguilla’s Veya Restaurant & SandBar comes toes-in-the-sand dining that celebrates the authenticity and quality of Mediterranean cuisine. Named Karaya, meaning “moonlight” in Taíno-Arawak, the restaurant honours both the island’s indigenous heritage and the natural beauty. Route 86 Restaurant, located on George Hill, opened in summer 2025 and serves Asian–Caribbean fusion with a twist, by Chef Raymond “Rana” Adams.
