There is hardly a global hotel chain that is not eager to gain entry into India, making the future of this industry bright. Chef Y. B. Mathur, Executive Director, Culinary Design and Application Group, who spent long years with the ITC company, says that the restaurant industry globally is evolving on highly-professional lines. Chef Mathur will be speaking at the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) 2016 event being held in Singapore from April 12 to 15 where Mathur will discuss innovations and other subjects.

Ms. Ting Siew Mui, Project Director, Singapore Exhibition Services, which is organizing the event, said that this year several new features are being added, including a culinary challenge, skill competitions, and a focus on halal and wines.

FHA 2016 will feature six specialized exhibitions: Food Asia, Hotel Asia, Speciality Coffee and Tea, Bakery and Pastry, Hospitality Style Asia, and Hospitality Technology.

She said in Delhi on February 16, there will be prestigious competition targeting professionals from specific groups and sectors of the food and hospitality industry.

The event is an opportunity for Indian attendees under one roof to expand business networks.
