Barratt and David Wilson Homes is inviting house hunters to five of its upcoming events in Nottinghamshire this month (August). The events are free to the public and, with no appointment required, homebuyers can receive a tour of the properties available and find out more about how they can save money and hassle when securing a new home.

The first of the events is set to take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August, and will be held at David Wilson Homes’ Thoresby Vale development, which is based on Ollerton Road in Edwinstowe. Another will also be held on the same days at David Wilson Homes’ Elm Tree Park community on Blidworth Lane in Rainworth.

These two events will enable would-be buyers to discover how they can make a swift transition into a new home with a range of moving schemes; such as getting financial and admin help to sell an existing property with Movemaker, or moving chain free with Part Exchange. In addition to the homebuilder’s Sales Advisers, there will also be a Financial Adviser present at both of these events to give advice to property seekers on the day.

A week later on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August, the launch of Barratt Homes’ The Hawthorns will take place. This development is located on Beck Lane in Sutton in Ashfield, accommodating a range of three and four bedroom homes.

This event will serve as the first opportunity for house-hunters to view the brand new show homes. The final events to help homebuyers will take place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August.

The first of which includes an open house event at Barratt Homes’ Gateford Park in Gateford, on Gatekeeper Way. This event will serve as an opportunity for property seekers to secure excellent offers on some of the last homes available now that the development is nearly 90% sold.

The featured home is the four bedroom Radleigh style property, which is priced from £238,995 and has savings available of over £25,000. Also taking place on the same day is an event for first-time buyers at David Wilson Homes’ Old Mill Farm development on Cordy Lane in Brinsley.

This event will enable house hunters to receive expert mortgage advice and get an on-day qualification to purchase a new home, with savings worth over £22,000 available on homes that are ready to move into. Martyn Parker, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands, said: “These events are the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to tour our homes and find out more about the excellent deals that are available at the developments.

“Our Sales Advisers will be on hand at each event to answer any questions visitors may have, including details on the moving process to help homebuyers step onto or advance on the property ladder.” Keen homebuyers can explore the range of properties available across the county by visiting the websites at Barratt Homes in Nottinghamshire or David Wilson Homes in Nottinghamshire
