Dr King G Mall BEM and MLSS (Midland Langar Seva Society) organised a special fundraising event for all the family to take part in.
Starting from the Guru Nanak Gurdwara, in Walsall, in the West Midlands, on May 24th. a 10-mile ‘Walk for Humanity took place - for fun and giving!” People were invited along, as world-renowned King G (73) led participants to follow in his footsteps as he and his team walked, carried and played the Dhol Drums along the way.
“It was all about making an attempt for the world record,” he recalled.
“It was incredibly hard during the 4-hour, or so, trek, but I did it to raise much-needed monies to serve humanity - with love and compassion. Now, I’m thanking you, and God’s blessings for your donations.
“It was a fun fundraiser to remember!” The finishing point is at Mr Singh’s, in Handsworth, Birmingham.

The Midland Langar Seva Society (MLSS) is a non-profit organisation that strives to help those in need around the UK and internationally. The UK based charity was established in October 2013.
