McLaren Toronto has been named the British supercar manufacturer’s Global Retailer of the Year 2023.

Announced at McLaren’s Premier Club event held in the UK and the South of France, McLaren Toronto was recognised for consistently strong retail performance despite challenging market conditions. McLaren Toronto are McLaren’s regional leaders in Aftersales and are consistently in the overall top five performing retailers for the Americas region.

The retailer was named as McLaren Automotive’s Global Retailer of the Year in 2017 and Regional Retailer of the Year for The Americas in 2016. For 2023, McLaren Osaka were confirmed as Regional Retailer of the Year for APACHI, while McLaren Zürich were named the Regional Retailer of the Year for EMEA.

To determine each winner, McLaren Automotive benchmarks multiple areas of business on a monthly basis using a digital scorecard. The top 12 performing retailers then join McLaren’s Premier Club and are shortlisted for the regional and overall awards.

Representatives from McLaren Automotive’s Premier Club travelled to Europe to attend the Retailer of the Year Premier Club Event between June 11 and 14, which included a preview and drive of the brand’s eagerly anticipated new high-performance hybrid convertible supercar, the McLaren Artura Spider. McLaren Toronto will see their name engraved on the Retailer of the Year trophy which will be displayed in the growing McLaren Technology Centre trophy cabinet.

Regional winners will each receive a Premier Club trophy to display in their showrooms. The 2023 Premier Club includes: McLaren Zürich, McLaren Manchester, McLaren Utrecht, McLaren Johannesburg, McLaren Singapore, McLaren Guangzhou, McLaren Osaka, McLaren Sydney, McLaren Boston, McLaren Scottsdale, McLaren São Paulo and McLaren Toronto.
