Musical Connections, a support network for isolated and vulnerable adults with specific needs across Birmingham and Solihull, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary concert at the Midlands Arts Centre on 27th May. Showcasing original material written by both new and longstanding members, the concert will also include the launch of ‘20:20 vision’, the project’s 2016 CD, as well as public signposting and information stalls prior to the event from 5.30pm, for people interested in finding out more about the project and other local opportunities and support available.

Musical Connections is a truly inspiring and heart-warming project, currently benefitting 113 members with a real variety of musical interests and experiences. Through music-making, participants build their personal, social, artistic and life skills. The project helps provide the important ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’, helping members connect, keep learning, take notice, give and be active, while focusing on having fun and producing some absolutely fantastic music and extremely catchy songs.

With feedback including statements such as "an absolutely fantastic, unforgettable experience” and “amazingly happy, positive and upbeat” after the last concert, this 20th Anniversary evening is bound to be a success.
