The final countdown to the ‘Innovate Dudley Expo’ has begun, with just one week to go until the big day!
This unique event will showcase the best of innovation in Dudley borough and advice on how to boost innovation in your business. Learn from our insightful panel discussions with innovation experts, take part in two thought-provoking roundtables, and explore our exhibition space.
You will also have the opportunity to connect with local and national innovation support services, who can help your business to transform your products and production line. They are proud to be part of the inaugural ‘West Midlands Business Festival’, a series of events celebrating businesses in our region and inspiring collaboration among entrepreneurs.
Professor Deborah Leary OBE (pic) has been at the forefront of innovation in forensic technology and intelligence for more than 20 years. She founded her business Forensic Pathways Ltd. in 2001, initially providing crime scene products to the police.
She has consistently anticipated the changing landscape of her industry, expanding into digital forensic technology, background investigations, threat intelligence, and reputation management. In 2024, she became Scaleup Director for Innovate UK Business Growth, supporting high-growth companies to access emerging domestic and international markets.
Deborah is also a Department for Business and Trade Export Champion and has received multiple awards for innovation and international trade, including recognition as the British Female Inventor of the Year. She was honoured with an OBE in 2008 for her contributions to entrepreneurship and the community.
BCIMO's HQ at the Very Light Rail National Innovation Centre will be our venue for this event. It is located close to Dudley town centre and the Castlegate Business and Leisure Park, and if you're driving to the venue, enter DY1 4AL into your satnav for directions. Parking will be free for this event.
