Paladar has revealed its Festive Menus, which will bring a distinctive Latin American flavour to any Christmas celebration. The popular Elephant & Castle restaurant will be offering the menus until 30th December, and has additionally created a special tasting menu for New Year's Eve.

The Festive Sharing Feast, available at lunch and dinner at £45 per person, is a banquet of Latin American party dishes created by chef Jose Rubio Guevara. Served for the whole table for groups of four or more, among the four starters are Shredded turkey criollo-corn empanadas with cranberry & chipotle jam and Seared coconut-chilli prawns on blue corn tortilla.

Mains include a centrepiece Carne en posta - Colombian black braised beef – with hibiscus-infused plantain, and creamy Quinotto, a risotto-style mushroom and quinoa dish; and banana & chocolate bread pudding is one of two desserts.

In addition to being able to choose wines from Paladar's recently expanded, all-Latin American winelist, guests can enhance their experience with an optional Argentina 75 cocktail to start - Argentine sparkling wine, Argentine gin, soursop and lime – and finish with a glass of Late Harvest Torrontes dessert wine. Crackers are included, and like all of Paladar's food, the menu is completely gluten-free.

At lunchtime, parties whose guests would like to order their choice of starter, main course and dessert individually can also choose from a Festive Lunch set menu, priced at £29.50 per person.

For New Year's Eve, Jose has created a special tasting menu which is available on Friday 31st December at lunch and at two dinner sittings, early evening and late evening. The menu starts with a welcome drink and a selection of pasabocas - canapés – before small plates including Tapioca and cheese croquette dice and Cassava fritters.

Next comes a selection of three seafood tostadas, before meat dishes like Crispy pork belly lettuce tacos, Shredded beef empanadas and Cochinita pibil blue corn tortilla tacos. To finish there are Paladar's signature Purple corn churros with coffee dulce de leche, chocolate and ancho chilli sauce.

This menu is priced at £50 at lunchtime, £60 for the early dinner sitting and £75 for the late evening sitting, the latter of which allows guests to stay and celebrate until the restaurant closes at 2am. An optional wine-pairing is available to complement the New Year's Eve menu at £35.

Bookings are now open for groups of up to 20 at paladarlondon.com and on 020 7186 5555.

Paladar will be closed from Friday 24th to Monday 27th December inclusive.
