Internationally renowned musician Stephen Marley has recently released his latest single ‘Old Soul,’ alongside the publishing of a new lyric video for the same song, which heavily features Marley’s personal history alongside the history of Jamaica.

The video includes a collection of the singer’s personal history with old family photos and vintage album covers and is presented in an interesting collage-style animation.

Samuel Jack has achieved a landmark moment in his career to date as he releases his debut album ‘The Gold & The Glory’. He launches the album by paying a special tribute to his late father, the man who inspired Samuel’s first steps upon this journey, with the poignant new song ‘Chat Dad.

Released ahead of Father’s Day this Sunday, ‘Chat Dad’ is the most affecting moment of an intensely personal and reflective debut album. The cast of Roy Williams’ Sucker Punch have arrived in Wolverhampton ahead of performances running until Friday 16 June, with the city’s iconic stage transformed into a boxing ring for the performances. The revival of the play is on its first major UK tour as part of theatre network Theatre Nation Partnerships made up of theatres and creative organisations across the country and the National Theatre.

Children from Willows Primary School, Lichfield, are busy learning to play the trumpet ahead of a performance with the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band in Lichfield Cathedral, at this summer’s Lichfield Festival. Twenty Year 5 pupils are receiving free tuition and free instruments, thanks to Lichfield Festival’s Aspire! learning and participation programme, which has partnered with Entrust Music Service Staffordshire, Warwick Music Group – manufacturers of the colourful pCornets and pTrumpets – and Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

Classroom sessions are well underway as the young learners prepare for their high profile Lichfield Cathedral concert on Saturday 8 July. They will join the leading brass band for ‘A Grimethorpe Adventure’ in front of an expected audience of 750 people.

Birmingham Hippodrome’s B-SIDE Hip-Hop Festival 2023 has arrived in the city, bringing exceptional artists and acts from breakin’, graffiti, DJ’ing and MC’ing to the heart of Birmingham.

The free annual festival launched on Thursday 8 June with the Hippodrome’s Young Advocates’ takeover event, which featured hip-hop taster sessions and an informal jam session, and will culminate with Breakin Convention on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 June. Celebrating 50 years since the birth of hip-hop, B-SIDE Hip-Hop Festival has a jam-packed line-up of performances, workshops and activities to enjoy across the city.

Actress and comedian Ali Wong has announced that she’ll be returning to the U.K. with her show Ali Wong: Live at London’s Eventim Apollo on Saturday, 12 August 2023. Presales for her comedy show will start Wednesday 6 June at 10am local time with general on sale following on Friday 9 June at 10am local at LiveNation.co.uk.

Making her highly anticipated return to the U.K., Wong, a comedian, writer, actress, and director known for her comedy specials Baby Cobra, Hard Knock Wife, and Emmy-nominated Don Wong, will swing into London for one date only, offering two hilarious stand-up shows across an early and late performance during the middle of her 19-city North America tour before heading back across the pond to complete a run of U.S. dates until December 2023.

Hey Duggee, based on the smash hit CBeebies series, will come to Coventry over the summer, playing at the Belgrade from 3-6 August, with a press performance on Thursday 3 August at 1pm.

Duggee, the Squirrels and some of their friends star in the musical play Hey Duggee The Live Theatre Show – named Best Family Show at the 2023 Olivier Awards – which is packed with non-stop fun, laughs, music, singing and dancing. This is the first-ever stage adaptation of the hugely popular CBeebies series, which brings Duggee and friends to life through extraordinary puppetry and storytelling, with families able to see their TV heroes live on stage.

‘The Birds’ sees Belle Roscoe put their spirit animal Mojo The Walrus back in the spotlight after they were all arrested in London whilst filming the visual for their single ‘Soho Shoes’. Belle Roscoe (Julia and Matty) first met Mojo in the small hours during sessions for their upcoming EP ‘Talking To The Walrus’.
