The Sunday roast's prominence in British culture is such that in a UK poll in 2012 it was ranked second in a list of things people love about Britain. And according to National Geographic, it’s even one of the top 10 national dishes in the world.

This research, commissioned by CasinoTop10.net, examined the cost of a Sunday roast across 10 cities in the UK. The study looked at 50 best rated restaurants on TripAdvisor across 10 different cities.

UK confectionery brand, Fudge Kitchen, will be running back-to-back fudge making experiences this National Fudge Day to raise money for UK food charity Fareshare. Fudge Kitchen will waive the normal price of their fudge making experiences (usually priced from £95), and instead ask customers who have booked for that day to pay any price they see fit (in excess of £10). All proceeds will go directly to Fareshare to provide meals for communities across the UK.
