UK confectionery brand, Fudge Kitchen, will be running back-to-back fudge making experiences this National Fudge Day to raise money for UK food charity Fareshare. Fudge Kitchen will waive the normal price of their fudge making experiences (usually priced from £95), and instead ask customers who have booked for that day to pay any price they see fit (in excess of £10). All proceeds will go directly to Fareshare to provide meals for communities across the UK.

Singapore is bracing for a shortage of its de-facto national dish, chicken rice, as major supplier Malaysia halts all chicken exports.

A Bristol-based burger business has stormed the National Burger Awards 2022 with its winning signature creation. Danny’s Burgers in Brislington, an area in south east Bristol, won over an esteemed panel of industry judges at the UK-wide event with The Beef Chucky 2.0.

The burger features a 50-day dry aged beef blend, dry aged ex-dairy chuck roll, Kerrymaid American cheese, a beer cheese sauce, Kühne sliced dill pickles, mustard, candied jalapeños and fresh white onions, encased in a seeded brioche bun.
