Owen Lowther, General Manager, said: “Even I was blown away by the final look and I’d seen the plans! The transformation, the mix of traditional against contemporary light and bright tones has completely transformed the pub, ingeniously adding so much more character.

Breakout female dancehall artiste, Starface is set to light up the stage at Brit Jam 2016. The “Hold My Man” singer is slated to perform at the “Cook Out Pool Party” which will be held at Wespow Park in Monetgo Bay. Starface, who is signed to Canadian based label, Konsequence Musiq admits, “I am very excited about BritJam. It’s an event with good vibes, fun and free spirit, so I am happy they booked me for it."

Budding buccaneers can join the Republic of Pirates at Pirate's Quest Newquay this Easter for a special Easter Treasure Trail, from 21 March – 10 April 2016 as they frollow an eggciting Treasure Map spotting Captain 'Calico' Jack's cunning clues along the journey. Family business Slater’s Ales has opened its doors for business in Wolverhampton’s Queen Square. The award-winning brewery has developed its first premises outside of Staffordshire by transforming three floors of a Grade II-listed building previously occupied by Costa Coffee into a craft-ale bar. The original features of the building have been restored while there is also an industrial feel throughout.

Health chiefs are inviting families to get ‘Sugar Smart’ when the Change4Life roadshow comes to Wolverhampton this weekend. Its Sugar Smart campaign is touring the country, visiting 25 shopping centres nationwide. After India's top film producer, Karan Johar, finished a film shot in Innsbruck, Austria, tourism officials in this country are confident it created a new magnet for Indian visitors. The movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, with stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma draw a picture of Austria needed to interest travelers to eye Innsbruck as an Indian travel destination. Ms. C. Mukerji, who heads the Austria National Tourist Office in India, said that ANTO Austria is also launching a new website and a new campaign soon.
